From 10th to 13th,Hong Kong Meizhou Association organized hundreds of Hong Kong young people to carry out the“Firewood strength•Hakka Capital Trip"exchange activity,accompanied by vice mayor Chen Lixia.

Hong Kong Youth delegation visited successively Chinese Hakka Museum,Huang Zunxian's House,Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall,San Heba martyrs Memorial Park,Ye Jianying Memorial Park,to experience the Hakka culture,understand the heroic deeds of the Hakka martyrs of the revolution;and watched Han Opera,Hakka folk song performances in Guangdong Han Opera Heritage Institute and Meizhou Hakka folk song heritage protection Centre.Hong Kong Youth group also went to Xianzi Stadium in Meixian district,and were divided into six sub-teams to play a football match with Meixian TieHan eco-II team.Wen Junwei,a native of BingCun village in Meixian district,believed that this activity allowed him to fully understand the Hakka culture,and the sense of belonging was enhanced.The main official of the league said that this exchange activity gave Hong Kong young people an in-depth experience of Meizhou Hakka customs and folklore features,the cultural exchanges between young people were enhanced.(Reporter:Yuan Xiaomin,intern:Xie Shanshan)
