Taiwan Hongkong Association visited Meizhou

Zhang Chen took part in the discussion and hoped that both sides would strengthen friendship, cooperation and common development

From 12th to 15th, Hongkong Taiwan industrial and Commercial Association, Hong Kong and Macao Taiwan fellow Association visited Hong kong. vice mayor Zhang Chen exchanged views with the visiting delegation and his entourage.

 Zhang Chen,on behalf of the municipal government,gave a warm welcome to the delegation, and introduced the economic and social development of Meizhou,which is known for "Capital of Hakkas in the World" and "Township of Overseas Chinese", and briefed the brand exchange activities to Taiwan. She pointed out that Meizhou has good ecological and investment environment, mature exchange and cooperation platform, and huge development potential. She hoped that the two sides can enhance friendship, strengthen cooperation and seek common development through this visit.

 Qiu Wenqian, President of Taiwan Hongkong business association and advisor of the Hong Kong & Macao taiwanese association, thanked the municipal Party committee and the municipal government for their warm reception.  He said that the Taiwan Business Association(HK) LTD has been committed to promoting exchanges and cooperation between the four places across the Taiwan Straits,this event has a positive effect on promoting bilateral economic and trade exchanges and cooperation.

 During the period of the visit, the delegation visited China Hakka Museum, Alice Manor, KeTianXia, Yanming Lake, Meizhou-Taiwan Cultural and Creative Industrial Park and other demonstration sites of cross-strait exchange base, as well as QianFoTa temple, Songkou ancient town, QiaoXiGuYun and other Hakka cultural scenic spots.
