Meizhou will open Thailand Bangkok air route

Reporters was informed from the Executive meeting of municipal government yesterday that Meizhou will open up the Bangkok - Meizhou air route during the fifth World Hakka Merchants Conference.

It is understood that in accordance with the relevant requirements of holing "Southeast Asian route navigation ceremony" during the World Hakka Merchants Congress, according to the "preparatory work plan of the fifth World Hakka Merchants Congress",with Meizhou's great efforts on promoting the air port to expand the bid for opening to the outside world this year, after many arguments and discussions, and combined with the distribution and composition of Meizhou overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia, the trade and tourism interaction situation, Thailand Bangkok was chosen as the navigation route in Southeast Asia. According to the relevant design, Bangkok - Meizhou route will use the aircraft of Boeing 737 - 800 (189 seats) or equivalent models, with flight time in the daytime, two round-trip flights every week on average, and the total annual flights will be within 104.
